There is something truly rewarding about stepping back into the lab to hone surgical craft—especially when learning from the world’s finest, my second home.

During the Complex Anterior Segment Surgery (CASS) Masterclass at the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), I had the incredible opportunity to review and refine intricate surgical solutions firsthand:

🔹 Iris Reconstruction & Pupilloplasty
🔹 Traumatic Iridodialysis Repairs

I watched my incredible professor, Prof. Chee Soon Phaik, demonstrate these advanced maneuvers with such mastery over the years, practicing and executing them hands-on is truly one for the books.

This is a big step in complicated cataracts that comes with Uveitic conditions like cataract subluxation, IOL dislocation, traumatic iridodialysis, and lens dislocation from Congenital diseases like Marfan’s, homocystinuria, Weil Marchesani.
