Seven years ago, I took a leap of faith and started my private pediatric practice in a place many wouldn't expect... a shopping mall. There was a time when I questioned myself. Of all places, having a clinic inside a mall made me wonder if patients would ever find me. I worried if they would choose convenience over trust, or if I had made the right decision. Seven years later, I realized it was never about the location. It was about showing up consistently, caring deeply, listening patiently, and earning the trust of every family, one child at a time.

Today, as I celebrate 7 wonderful years as a pediatrician at Healthway, my heart is filled with nothing but gratitude.

To every family who entrusted me with your children's health from their first newborn check-up to their vaccinations, milestones, illnesses, and everything in between a big thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. It is a privilege I never take for granted. Your trust, kind words, referrals, and unwavering support have helped me grow not only as a pediatrician but also as a person. Every smile, every hug, every drawing, and every "Thank you, Tita Doc" reminds me why I chose pediatrics.

Thank you God for all the blessings and opportunities. Thank you to my family esp Daddy Fretzly and Sophia for always believing in me, supporting my dreams, and never doubting my ability to achieve them even during the times I doubted myself. Your unwavering love, encouragement, and faith have been my greatest source of strength. Screens have become part of our children's daily lives, but they should never replace sleep, physical activity, reading, play, and meaningful family interactions.

Remember, children need real-world experiences to support healthy brain development. They learn best by talking, exploring, playing, and connecting with the people around them.
