Making a difference, one shoreline at a time.
Last April 18, 2026, Medtecs officers and employees proudly joined hands with Association of Certified Public Accountants for Sustainability, Inc. (ACPAFSI) and the Philippine Navy for a meaningful coastal clean-up at the Las Piñas–Parañaque Wetland Park. More than just collecting waste, the activity was a powerful reminder of our shared responsibility to protect the environment—walking the talk by not only cleaning up but committing to reduce waste in our communities.
The event also featured insightful sustainability talks. Our Group Financial Controller, Mr. Franc Ramon, Jr., shared that for Medtecs, sustainability is no longer optional—it’s inevitable. As an SGX-listed company, sustainability remains a key focus for our investors, shareholders, and even financing partners, while clients from the US and Europe continue to require strict social compliance standards. He highlighted how energy efficiency plays a vital role in the company’s operations, with ongoing investments in biomass gensets and renewable energy. Internally, Medtecs fosters a culture of sustainability through mindful energy use and the reuse of materials such as paper and plastics.
Looking ahead, Medtecs is exploring circular business models—developing new products while supporting communities. Beyond safeguarding tomorrow, the goal is to help create a better and more sustainable future for all.
