I’ve been working with Tarot since 2003, beginning with readings for myself and people close to me. My own training wasn’t centered around memorizing 78 definitions from a guidebook. It taught me to observe symbols, stories, patterns, and intuition, while staying grounded in the cards in front of me.

This October, I’d love to share that approach with you.

Some endings don't need another explanation.

This New Moon in Sidereal Leo in the same house as Ketu is carrying us into the aftermath of the eclipse cycle we just moved through. And while this is no longer an eclipse, there is still something deeply "final" about this energy.

You may suddenly realize that you are tired of fighting for something that has already shown you what it is.

Leo normally wants to create, express, lead, love loudly, and be seen, but Ketu does something very different. Ketu removes attachment. It strips away the need for validation and asks whether the version of yourself you have been protecting is still the version you actually want to become.

So this New Moon may not feel like the usual "manifest your new beginning" kind of lunation.

For some of us, the new beginning is simply deciding that we are no longer going back.

No longer chasing the same validation.
No longer forcing ourselves into spaces we've outgrown.
No longer negotiating with situations that repeatedly drain us.
No longer trying to resurrect something whose lesson has already been learned.

And strangely, there may be less drama around the decision than before.

Because sometimes healing doesn't arrive as closure from another person. Sometimes closure is realizing that you don't need another conversation to understand what happened.

This month carries a supportive movement around this process too. Venus settling into Libra emphasizes healthier reciprocity and cooperation, while Mercury moving strongly through Virgo favors clearer thinking, practical problem-solving and getting our lives back into order.

So don't mistake detachment for emptiness.

The space opening in your life is not necessarily something you need to fill immediately.

Maybe the lesson of this New Moon is much simpler:
Let the old version of you rest.

You don't have to keep proving that you've changed.

There are moments when life asks us to step back from the noise and look honestly at where we belong.

This Lunar Eclipse in Sidereal Aquarius brings our attention toward the communities we participate in, the people we surround ourselves with, the future we are trying to build, and the version of ourselves that exists within the collective. Aquarius can make us question whether we are genuinely connected, or simply staying somewhere because it has become familiar.

And because this eclipse falls in Shatabhisha nakshatra, there is a deeper invitation toward clearing, truth, and healing. Some realizations may feel uncomfortable at first, especially when we recognize that certain friendships, communities, expectations, or long-held ideals no longer reflect where we are going.

You don't have to force an ending just because something feels different.

Let the eclipse show you what has changed. Notice what feels draining, what feels liberating, and what no longer has a place in the future you're building.

Sometimes belonging isn't about finding more people.

Sometimes it's about finally becoming honest about where you no longer belong.

This Solar Eclipse asks us to pause before we act.

Eclipses can bring moments where things feel uncertain, emotionally heightened, or strangely difficult to understand.

With this eclipse in Cancer and Ashlesha, there may be a stronger pull toward what is hidden beneath the surface: old attachments, fears, emotional patterns, and situations we may have been holding onto long after they stopped serving us.

You may feel like you need to make a decision, get an answer, or finally figure everything out. But not every eclipse revelation arrives immediately. Sometimes the most important thing being revealed is what we are not ready to see yet.

So don't force clarity.

Don't react simply because you're uncomfortable with uncertainty. Don't make permanent decisions from a temporary emotional state. Give yourself permission to observe, gather information, and let the situation unfold before deciding what comes next.

The eclipse is not asking you to have all the answers right now.

It is asking you to make space for the truth to emerge.
