World Retinoblastoma Awareness Week 2026 runs from May 10–16, 2026, aiming to increase global awareness of this rare childhood eye cancer.

The week focuses on educating families about symptoms, like a white pupil in flash photos to promote early detection.

Key 2026 Activities & Information:

Awareness Focus: Highlighting the importance of taking flash photos of children to detect white eye reflex.

Get Involved: Participate in Crazy Glasses Day by wearing wacky specs and donating, or taking part in fundraising events like local walks or runs.

Support: Campaigns are supported by organizations like the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT) and World Eye Cancer Hope (WE C Hope).

Get involved by sharing symptoms using the hashtag on social media platforms.
