In the aftermath of the recent 7.8 magnitude earthquake, our healthcare workers attended a Psychological First Aid (PFA) session facilitated by the DOH Regional Office VII (Central Visayas) – Rehabilitation Facility to promote emotional healing, resilience, and mental well-being.

Because caring for our community starts with caring for our carers.

As part of the PLGU-Sarangani HATAW Program, Sarangani Provincial Hospital-Malungon held its Health and Wellness Break at the newly established pickleball court at Barangay Poblacion Gymnasium.

This initiative promotes physical activity, teamwork, and overall well-being among our healthcare workers.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our Chief of Hospital,Dr. Allen Geoffrey G. Española, Vice Mayor Atty. Maria Theresa D. Constantino, and Barangay Poblacion Officials for their partnership and support in making this project possible.

In line with the observance of Fire Prevention Month and as part of its commitment to strengthening emergency preparedness, the Sarangani Provincial Hospital – Malungon successfully conducted its annual fire drill today, March 5, 2026.

The activity began with informative lectures by Bureau of Fire Protection personnel on Fire Safety in Hospitals and other Healthcare Occupancies, the Incident Command System, and Mass Casualty Incident Management. This was followed by the conduct of the actual fire drill exercise to enhance the preparedness and response capability of hospital personnel during fire emergencies.
