Excellent news for public health in our municipality! On August 4, 2026, our dedicated Medical Technologist successfully completed the specialized training on Near Point of Care Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NPOC NAAT) for Tuberculosis (TB) held in Davao City.

Bringing this advanced diagnostic technology to our local laboratory is a massive leap forward in our fight against TB. Through NPOC NAAT, we can now achieve faster, highly accurate, and molecular-level detection right at the point of care. This means earlier diagnosis, rapid initiation of treatment, and better chances of recovery for our patients.
