On August 5, 2026, Kalinga Health Integrated Hub Mandaluyong warmly welcomed delegates of The Network: Towards Unity for Health (TUFH) 2026 Conference as one of the learning sites for the Conference on the Move, led by the Social Innovation in Health Initiative (SIHI). The learning visit brought together delegates from Indonesia, Uganda, Nigeria, and the United States, along with representatives from Kalinga Health and DISH - Data & Implementation Sciences for Health.
Held from August 4 to 7 and organized by The Network: TUFH and the University of the Philippines Manila, TUFH 2026 carried the theme, The conference aimed to bring participants closer to communities and health organizations where the spirit of bayanihan and the co-creation of innovative solutions are put into practice.
Through small-group discussions, presentations, videos, and a mini exhibit, Kalinga Health shared its programs and advocacies as a social enterpriseโfrom tuberculosis elimination and lung health to integrated primary care, diagnostics, digital health, and community-based partnerships.
The visit also provided a meaningful exchange of knowledge and experiences on how social innovation can be translated into more accessible, affordable, and patient-centered healthcare services. For Kalinga Health, this kind of collaboration reflects the true spirit of bayanihanโworking together to build more equitable, resilient, and responsive health systems for every community.
We extend our sincere thanks to SIHI, The Network: TUFH, UP Manila, and all the delegates who visited and took part in the meaningful discussions.
