ALWAYS THERE: 𝘗𝘙𝘊 𝘋𝘦𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘺𝘴 𝘌𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺 𝘔𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘦 𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘌𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘞𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘙𝘶𝘯 2026. 🚑🏃❤️

Ensuring athlete safety and rapid emergency medical response on the ground! The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) provided comprehensive medical standby and first aid coverage for the EastWest 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘙𝘶𝘯 2026 from 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM today, August 2, 2026.

To safeguard all participants, PRC deployed 9 ambulances, 10 Medic-on-Wheels units, 2 First Aid Stations, 1 Medical Doctor, 1 Veterinary Doctor, and 43 Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel.

During the 9-hour deployment, PRC medical teams catered to 36 patients, provided vital signs monitoring for 5 individuals, treated 29 minor cases (including muscle cramps, abrasions, sprains, insect bites, and a suspected wrist fracture), and assisted 4,563 runners with medicated pain-relief spray requests. Two patients were safely transported to the main First Aid Station for further care, with zero hospital transports required.

Empowering future leaders and student responders with critical emergency skills! In celebration of the National CPR Caravan, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Negros Occidental – Bacolod City Chapter (San Carlos City Branch) conducted a comprehensive CPR Lecture and Demonstration today, August 1, 2026, at the Central Philippine State University - San Carlos Campus.

Supported by dedicated staff member and volunteers, the interactive training successfully equipped 708 participants—including NSTP students and officers, ROTC officers, the CPSU Medical Team, and CPSU College Red Cross Youth—with essential CPR steps and emergency response procedures.

Following the M7.8 Earthquake operations, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) General Santos City–Sarangani Chapter successfully distributed essential non-food item relief kits to 250 affected families in Barangay Libi, Malapatan, Sarangani Province today, August 1, 2026.

Supported by the Deutsches Rotes Kreuz [German Red Cross] and German Federal Foreign Office [GFFO], each of the 250 families received a comprehensive relief pack containing 1 kitchen set, 1 hygiene kit, 2 collapsible jerry cans, and 1 sleeping kit. A dedicated team of 15 PRC responders, including 3 deployed chapter staff and 12 chapter-based or Red Cross Youth volunteers, facilitated the seamless distribution process.

In celebration of the 2026 National CPR Caravan, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Negros Occidental – Bacolod City Chapter (La Carlota City Branch) conducted an interactive CPR Lecture and Demonstration on July 31, 2026, at the Barangay Hall Covered Court in Brgy. 3 Poblacion, La Carlota City.

Supported by chapter staff members and branch volunteers, the interactive initiative successfully trained 146 participants, including senior high school students and community volunteers.

Bringing essential healthcare, welfare, and community support under one roof! The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Southern Leyte Chapter successfully conducted a comprehensive Health Caravan on July 31, 2026, at the PRC Gym in Barangay Abgao, Maasin City.

The day-long health initiative served 215 residents across 16 barangays in Maasin City, providing free medical consultations, health education, blood sugar screenings, warm meals, and personal care services through a collaborative team of 58 mobilized personnel and healthcare partners.

Supported by 4 chapter instructors and personnel, the mass training successfully equipped 699 participants with practical CPR knowledge and critical emergency response steps.
