Sometimes, one conversation can make a difference.
On September 29, 2026, Unilab employees gathered at Unilab Building 2 for a health talk on Cervical Cancer Awareness and HPV Vaccination, organized by Unilab PSG Care and Flexicare.
The session was led by Dr. Socorro Bernardino, Assistant Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, FEU-NRMF Institute College of Medicine and St. Luke's Medical Center College of Medicine. She is also the 2026 Chair of the POGS Midyear Convention and 80th Foundation Day.
Her talk opened an honest, practical conversation about cervical cancer, prevention, screening, and the role of the HPV vaccine.
Why hold this kind of session at work? Because well-being isn't only about care when someone is already unwell. It's also about giving people accurate information early, from a trusted expert, in a space where asking questions feels safe. Prevention starts with understanding, and understanding starts with a conversation.
More than a health talk, it was a reminder that knowing the facts empowers us to make informed choices and to take action to protect our health and the people we love.
