Guided by the theme โ๐ข๐ฎ๐ป๐ฟ๐ช๐ท๐ฝ ๐๐ฎ๐ช๐ญ๐ฎ๐ป๐ผ: ๐ ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฑ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐พ๐ฝ๐พ๐ป๐ฎ ๐ฏ๐ธ๐ป ๐๐ธ๐พ๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฒ๐ช๐ท๐ผโ Saint Louis CollegeโCebu successfully held its Career Day last February 2, 2026, an activity designed to empower learners to explore career paths while fostering leadership rooted in service, purpose, and compassion.
In the morning session, several notable professionals from various industries generously shared their experiences, insights, and expertise. For our STEM learners, speakers from the fields of Medicine, Engineering, and Technology provided valuable perspectives on their professions and the responsibility that comes with serving society through their work. Our ABM learners were guided by professionals specializing in Accountancy, Marketing, and Business, highlighting ethical leadership and service in the corporate world. Meanwhile, for the HUMSS strand, individuals from the broadcasting, psychology, and social sciences shared their passion and advocacy, emphasizing leadership through creativity, mental health awareness, and justice.
In the afternoon, SLCC welcomed six (6) universities and institutions from Cebu that discussed and promoted the diverse tertiary-level courses and college programs available to our learners. The participating schools were (CIT-U) Cebu Institute of Technology - University, iAcademy, Cebu Doctorsโ University (CDU), University of San Carlos (USC), University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF), and Southwestern University (SWU).
Through this activity, learners were encouraged not only to plan for their future careers but also to embrace the values of servant leadership, using their knowledge, skills, and passions to contribute meaningfully to society and help build a brighter future for all Louisians. ๐
