LOOK: On 14 July 2026, Coast Guard Dental Surgeon CAPT JOSE Q. LIM JR (DS) DSC PCG paid a courtesy call to COL RANULFO O. ESPERA (DS) MNSA, Chief Dental Service, Philippine Army, and COL CLEOFE C. PULMANO (DS) GSC, Commanding Officer, 1301st Philippine Army Dental Dispensary, at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

The meeting strengthened the good working relationship between the Coast Guard Dental Service and the Philippine Army. It also gave these organizations the chance to discuss common concerns and future plans for working together. Through this continued partnership, they remain committed to provide oral healthcare and supporting the mission readiness of our uniformed personnel.

LOOK: On 03 July 2026, Coast Guard Dental Surgeon, CAPT JOSE Q LIM JR (DS) DSC PCG paid a courtesy call to Chief, Dental Service, AFP, BGEN ISIDRO ALEX C URRIQUIA (DS) MNSA, at The Office of the Chief Dental Service at Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

The visit provided an opportunity for both leaders to meet and discuss matters of mutual interest, while reaffirming the strong professional relationship between the Coast Guard Dental Service and the AFP Dental Service. It also served as a venue to exchange ideas and explore ways to further strengthen cooperation in the field of military dentistry.

Both leaders recognized the importance of working together to continuously improve dental services for uniformed personnel. Through collaboration, the sharing of best practices, and professional exchanges, both organizations remain committed to delivering quality oral healthcare that supports the health, well-being, and mission readiness of those in service.

LOOK: The Coast Guard Dental Service Conference was successfully conducted via Google Meet on 02 July 2026, bringing together all Dental Operating Units to strengthen coordination and operational excellence.

During the conference, the newly designated Coast Guard Dental Surgeon, CAPT JOSE Q LIM JR (DS) PCG, presented his command guidance and key directives for the Coast Guard Dental Service. An open forum also allowed Commanding Officers to discuss concerns, share best practices, and exchange ideas to further enhance the delivery of dental healthcare services.

In his closing remarks, CAPT JOSE Q LIM JR (DS) DSC PCG emphasized unity, professionalism, and continuous improvement in support of the Philippine Coast Guard’s mission.

As one Dental Service, we remain committed to building a stronger, more responsive, and mission-ready organization dedicated to providing quality oral healthcare to every Coast Guard personnel.

On 25 June 2026, the Office of the Coast Guard Dental Surgeon proudly joined the Simultaneous Donning and Oath-Taking Ceremony held at the National Headquarters, Port Area, Manila, presided over by the Deputy Commandant for Operations, Vice Admiral Edgar YbaΓ±ez PCG.

LOOK: On 08 June 2026, the Office of the Coast Guard Dental Surgeon, under the command of COMMO RODOLFO S INGEL JR (DS) PCG, participated in the dental mission of Camp Crame High School, the proud alma mater of the Coast Guard Dental Surgeon himself.

The collaborative initiative was warmly welcomed by the school principal, Dr. Marife O. Talabucon. During the event, the PCG dental team helped provide dental kit giveaways, oral health education, fluoride applications, and dental screenings to Grade 7 students, aiming to promote health awareness and assess their overall dental condition.

This activity reflects the Philippine Coast Guard’s continuous advocacy for community health and its commitment to supporting educational institutions in fostering bright smiles among the youth.

LOOK: On 06 June 2026, the Office of the Coast Guard Dental Surgeon participated in KLINIKALAYAAN 2026: "Serbisyong Kalusugan para sa Bayan Dental Mission" at the Open Air Auditorium, Rizal Park, Manila.

The grand health caravan was graced by the presence of Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Dr. Teodoro "Ted" J. Herbosa. Under his leadership, the DOH, alongside the Manila Health Department and various other government agencies, rendered vital medical, dental, and health services to the public in celebration of the upcoming 128th Philippine Independence Day.

The PCG Dental Team was deployed under the leadership of its Officer-in-Charge, LCDR AL KHUDRI A YUSOP (DS) PCG. Their active participation highlights the Philippine Coast Guard's strong inter-agency collaboration and its unwavering commitment to public service.
