Philippine Tropical Medicine Course (PTMC) 2026 Preparation
The Philippine Tropical Medicine Course (PTMC) 2026 will run from June 15–26, 2026, with activities in Manila and Leyte. The course will feature bedside teaching, lectures, discussions, and community fieldwork in both urban and rural settings, providing participants with valuable hands-on learning experiences in tropical medicine and global health.
As part of the preparation, the PTMC team, together with Prof. Chris Smith, Dr. Su Myat Han, and Ms. Mary Rose Balein, conducted a pre-visit to Leyte from March 10–11, 2026 to coordinate with partner institutions and plan the field activities for the course.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our partner institutions and colleagues who warmly welcomed us and supported the preparation of the course.
