After my son’s first round of sound therapy, I felt like the barrier between our “worlds” was reduced. He communicated with us more, his words are now clearer, and he’s able to follow instructions quicker and better. He even tried to play a fun prank on his sister.
His awareness definitely increased and he started exploring more about the things around him.
It’s amazing how the ears open windows of possibilities to his development in the spectrum.

Uncover the diverse signs of Sensory Integration Disorder (SID):
👉Overly sensitive to sensory input: Individuals may become easily overwhelmed or bothered by sounds, lights, textures, tastes, or smells.
👉Avoidance or seeking behaviors: They may avoid certain environments, activities, or situations that trigger sensory discomfort, or seek intense sensory input to self-regulate.
👉Poor coordination and balance: Difficulty with gross motor skills, such as jumping, running, or catching, and fine motor skills, like tying shoelaces or using utensils.
👉Difficulty with transitions: They may struggle with transitions between activities, changes in routine, or adapting to new environments.
👉Sensory seeking or avoiding behaviors: Engaging in repetitive behaviors like rocking, spinning, or hand flapping, or actively avoiding certain textures, clothing, or foods.
👉Impaired social interaction: Difficulty with social skills, engaging in reciprocal play, or being sensitive to personal space.
👉Emotional and behavioral challenges: Exhibiting emotional outbursts, anxiety, or meltdowns in response to sensory triggers.
It's important to note that these signs can vary from person to person, and a professional evaluation by an occupational therapist or healthcare provider specializing in sensory integration can provide a proper diagnosis and guidance for intervention.
