Ihanda ang inyong mga anak para sa Bakuna Eskwela! 🤲
Ito ay programa ng Kagawaran ng Kalusugan sa pakikipagtulungan sa Kagawaran ng Edukasyon, na layuning protektahan ang mga kabataan laban sa mga sakit na maaaring iwasan sa pamamagitan ng bakuna tulad ng Measles, Rubella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, at Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).
Ngayong Oktubre, pabakunahan na ang inyong mga anak sa mga public elementary schools.. Pirmahan na ang consent form para sila ay mapa-bakunahan!

WHAT IS DIABETES?
Diabetes is a heterogeneous metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia due to defects in insulin secretion, insulin action, or both. Chronic elevation of glucose for a long time causes disturbances of carbohydrate metabolism.... damage in many different organs. Especially in the heart and blood vessels, kidneys, eyes and nerves.
Diabetes is classified into 3 types:
• Type 1 diabetes: due to destruction of pancreatic beta cells, leading to absolute insulin deficiency
• Type 2 diabetes: due to progressive decrease in pancreatic beta cell function on the background of insulin resistance
• Gestational diabetes: is diabetes diagnosed in the second or third trimester of pregnancy and there is no prior evidence of type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
