The Philippine Society for Quality in Healthcare (PSQua) proudly congratulates Manila Doctors Hospital for securing FIRST PLACE in the 1st Annual Search for the Most Outstanding IMRaD-Based Research Study, emerging as the top winner among six outstanding research entries from healthcare institutions across the Philippines.

This prestigious recognition was awarded during the 5th Quality Summit and 2026 Mid-Year Convention of PSQua, held on June 25–26, 2026, as the Society celebrates its 30th Quality Year of Transforming Healthcare for the Better and Changing Lives for Good.

The award-winning research study,

“CARE-PM (Coping And Resilience Evaluation after Patient Mortem): Development of a Post-Mortem Resilience Evaluation Index,”

demonstrates the vital role of research in addressing the human dimensions of healthcare. By focusing on the coping mechanisms and resilience of healthcare professionals following patient mortality, the study contributes valuable insights that support caregiver well-being, emotional resilience, and the sustainability of compassionate, high-quality care.

Winning the inaugural competition is a remarkable accomplishment and reflects Manila Doctors Hospital’s commitment to scholarly excellence, innovation, and evidence-based healthcare improvement.
