Because of increasing prevalence of myopia in children..Myopia control is emerging. Evidence shows that we can address progressive myopia with interventions such as lifestyle change by Increasing Time spent outdoors and optical treatment like myopia control lenses (DIMS, HAL) and pharmacological treatment like Low Dose Atropine.

The World Society of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus has shared their Myopia Consensus Statement.

If your child has myopia, it is good to be informed.
