LUNG CANCER SCREENING SAVES LIVES

🫁 Ang lung cancer ang pangunahing sanhi ng pagkamatay dahil sa kanser, ngunit maaaring makaligtas ng buhay ang maagang pagtuklas.

🫁 Ang lung cancer screening ay tumutulong na matukoy ang kanser sa maagang yugto—madalas bago pa lumitaw ang mga sintomas. Kapag maagang natuklasan, mas marami ang opsyon sa paggamot at mas mataas ang tsansang mabuhay.



Sino ang Dapat Magpa-Screen?

Maaaring kwalipikado ka para sa taunang lung cancer screening kung ikaw ay:
• 50–80 taong gulang
• Kasalukuyang naninigarilyo o tumigil sa loob ng nakaraang 15 taon
• May 20 pack-year na smoking history
(Halimbawa: 1 kaha/araw sa loob ng 20 taon)

Ang PAOD ay isang sakit kung saan ang mga ugat (arteries) sa mga paa—karaniwan sa binti—ay numinipis o nababarahan, kadalasan dahil sa pag-ipon ng taba at kolesterol (atherosclerosis).

Sino ang dapat i-screen para sa PAOD?
I-screen ang mga nasa hustong gulang na may mataas na panganib, kahit wala pang sintomas:
• Edad ≥65 taong gulang
• Edad 50–64 na may mga risk factor tulad ng:
• diabetes
• paninigarilyo
• altapresyon
• dyslipidemia (mataas na kolesterol)
• Edad
