🌧️ BAHA? MAG-INGAT SA LEPTOSPIROSIS! 🦠

Kapag lumusong sa maruming tubig-baha, maaaring magkaroon ng exposure sa Leptospira bacteria na maaaring magdulot ng LEPTOSPIROSIS lalo na kung may sugat o gasgas sa balat.

🛡️ PEP/Preventive Antibiotic pagkatapos ng exposure?

Ayon sa DOH guidance, ang chemoprophylaxis (preventive antibiotic) ay maaaring ikonsidera para sa mga taong may high-risk exposure sa baha, lalo na sa mga lumusong o nagkaroon ng matagal na contact sa contaminated floodwater. Ito ay dapat ma-assess at maireseta ng healthcare professional.

⚠️ Kung nalubog sa baha:
✅ Hugasan agad ang katawan at paa gamit ang malinis na tubig at sabon.
✅ Linisin at takpan ang anumang sugat o gasgas.
✅ Iwasang lumusong sa baha kung maaari.
✅ Kung high-risk ang exposure, magpatingin agad sa health facility para sa assessment kung kailangan ng preventive antibiotic.
❌ Huwag basta-basta uminom ng antibiotic nang walang payo o reseta ng healthcare professional.

🚨 MAGPATINGIN AGAD KUNG MAY SINTOMAS gaya ng lagnat, matinding sakit ng ulo, pananakit ng kalamnan, pagsusuka, pamumula ng mata, o paninilaw ng balat/mata pagkatapos ng exposure.

Baha man ay lumipas, exposure dito ay HUWAG balewalain.

Hindi lang dapat cellphone, pitaka, o pang-araw-araw na gamit ang dala—kailangan dala rin natin ang mga simpleng gawi para makaiwas sa sakit at proteksiyon laban sa impeksiyon! 💪
👉 Malinis na kamay – Laging maghugas nang tama at madalas
👉 Takip tuwing ubo’t bahing – Para hindi makahawa
👉 Ligtas na distansya – Iwas hawaan
👉 Linisin ang mga gamit – Cellphone, bag, susi
👉 Magpahinga kung may sakit – Huwag nang lumabas
👉 Mask at PPE – Isuot nang tama
👉 Bakuna ang kalasag – Dapat laging updated 💉
