As influenza viruses constantly evolve, Influenza vaccines must be updated every year to maintain its effectivity.
This season’s flu vaccines were updated to better match viruses expected to be circulating.

💉Current recommendation still stands that ALL individuals from 6 MONTHS OLD and older get a YEARLY flu vaccine.
Influenza chooses no age, but children younger than 5 years old have a higher risk of developing more severe complications when hit with flu.

YES. Administering MORE THAN 1 VACCINE on the SAME DAY has long been proven to be SAFE and effective as long as:
- it’s being given on different anatomic sites;
- no more than 2 Live vaccines on the same visit; - vaccines were maintained on proper cold chain/ temperature and
- it’s being given by a knowledgeable & LICENSED MD 😉

👩🏻‍⚕️FYI: Aside from shot blockers, according to CDC, giving something 𝙨𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙩 can help 𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙚 your little one’s 𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙚. Even a very small amount can help reduce pain during/after shots.

post-weekday 𝙌𝙪𝙖𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙁𝙇𝙐 (and Chicken Pox) vaccination❤️💉

👩🏻‍⚕️Since Saturdays are almost always fully booked, to be able to accommodate other patients, 𝙁𝙇𝙐 𝙫𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 slots are now opened even 𝙤𝙣 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙨 (once with confirmed appointment)
*as first patients to avoid exposure with sick patients on later hours.
Other types of vaccine will still be strictly on Saturdays.
