[FULL INTERVIEW] On the morning of July 27, I had the opportunity to talk about the power of journaling on Treze Mornings. ๐งก
One thing I shared is how putting our thoughts and emotions into words can help us process what we feel. Studies suggest that naming our emotions can reduce activity in the emotional center of the brain involved in fear and distress. Journaling gives us space to pause, understand ourselves, and respond more intentionally.
This is also why my book, ๐ ๐๐บ ๐ฆ๐๐ถ๐น๐น ๐ฆ๐๐ฟ๐๐ด๐ด๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐ฎ ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฃ๐๐ฟ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ป๐๐๐ฎ๐, includes journaling prompts after every chapter. Itโs not only a book to read, but also a workbook for reflection.
Hereโs the full interview. I hope it inspires you to open a blank page and start writing. ๐งก
Sometimes, writing whatโs inside us helps us understand how we want to live beyond it.
