The Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital (DJFMH), through its Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Committee,
honored ๐— ๐—ฟ. ๐—”๐—ฅ๐—ก๐—จ๐—Ÿ๐—™๐—ข ๐—จ. ๐—ฃ๐—”๐—•๐—Ÿ๐—ข, Warehouseman Ill, with a Retirement Recognition Award during the Flag Raising Ceremony on August 17, 2026, which also coincided with his 65th birthday.

The occasion marked Mr. Pablo's compulsory retirement after 39 years of dedicated service to
DJFMH. It was a meaningful milestone, celebrating both the completion of his long career and his birthday.

During the program, Dr. Estrella O. Jusi, PRAISE Committee Chairperson, read the citation on the Plaque of Retirement Recognition, signed by her and Dr. Salvador B. Evardone, MPH, MHA, CESE,
Medical Center Chief II.

The plaque was formally presented by Dr. Evardone, together with the members of the Executive Committee, in recognition of Mr. Pablo's years of service and dedication to the Hospital.

Mr. Pablo also received a money garland from the officials and staff of the Materials Management Department (MMD), led by Ms. Ana Maria C. Tolentino, OIC of MMD, as a warm gesture of appreciation.

In his response, Mr. Pablo thanked God for allowing him to reach this important milestone. He expressed his appreciation to the MCC II - Dr. Evadone and the various offices that supported him throughout his career, particularly the Accounting, Procurement, and Materials Management departments. He also shared his sincere thanks to all the colleagues he had worked with for their friendship and support.

Dr. Evardone likewise commended Mr. Pablo for his remarkable service to the hospital over the past 39 years.

The ceremony concluded with a photo opportunity with the Executive Committee, colleagues, and friends who joined in celebrating this special milestone.

The Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital (DJFMH), through its Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Committee, honored
๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐Œ๐„๐‘๐‹๐€ ๐‚. ๐†๐€๐‘๐‚๐ˆ๐€, Administrative Aide VI of the Housekeeping Unit, with a Retirement Recognition Award during the Flag Raising Ceremony held on July 27, 2026, in recognition of her 44 years of dedicated and invaluable service to the institution.

During the ceremony, Dr. Estrella O. Jusi, Chairperson of the PRAISE Committee, read the commendation contained in the Certificate of Retirement Recognition, which bore her signature together with that of Dr. Salvador B. Evardone, MPH, MHA, CESE, Medical Center Chief II. The award was formally presented to Ms. Garcia by Dr. Evardone, together with the members of the Executive Committee.

As a tribute to her years of service, Ms. Garcia also received a bouquet of flowers from her colleagues in the Housekeeping Unit under the Engineering and Facilities Management Department, led by Engr. Rolly R. Adorable, Engineer V.

In her retirement message, Ms. Garcia expressed her gratitude to the Medical Center Chief II, hospital administrators, supervisors, colleagues, and the entire Fabella community for giving her the opportunity to serve Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital for 44 years.

She likewise expressed appreciation to her coworkers for their unwavering support, kindness, and camaraderie, which made her career both meaningful and memorable.

She reflected on the invaluable lessons, lasting friendships, and cherished experiences she gained throughout her years of service, and shared her pride in having been part of the "Fabella Family."

She also recognized the dedication and compassion of the hospital workforce in providing quality patient care, noting that their commitment would continue to inspire her even in retirement. She concluded her message with a prayer for everyone's well-being, saying, "Pagpalain po tayong lahat ng ating Poong Maykapal."

The Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital (DJFMH), through its Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Committee, honored ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐„๐๐ฎ๐š๐ซ๐๐จ ๐‘. ๐†๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐จ, Administrative Assistant Ill of the Budgeting Department, with the Retirement Recognition Award during the Flag Raising Ceremony held on Monday, July 13, 2026, in recognition of his 36 years of dedicated service to the institution.

During the ceremony, Dr. Estrella O. Jusi, Chairperson of the PRAISE Committee, read the citation inscribed on the plaque of recognition, bearing the signatures of Dr. Jusi and Dr. Salvador B. Evardone, MPH, MHA, CESE, Medical Center Chief II.

The plaque of recognition was formally presented to Mr. Germino by Dr. Evardone together with the members of the Executive Committee.

He was likewise presented with a garland and a bouquet of flowers by his colleagues from the Finance Service as a gesture of appreciation for his years of service and dedication.

In his retirement speech, Mr. Germino expressed his gratitude to God for His blessings bestowed upon him and his family. He also shared his appreciation to Dr. Evardone and the members of the Executive Committee for the recognition and honor accorded to him.

He likewise expressed his appreciation to his colleagues in the Finance Service, particularly those from the Budgeting Department, and his supervisors for their guidance throughout his career.

He extended his gratitude to his wife, Ms. Melinda B. Germino, Supervising Administrative Officer of the Cash and Operations Department, as well as to his brother-in-law, for their love and support.

In his closing message, Mr. Germino thanked everyone he had worked with over the years and encouraged all employees to continue serving patients with compassion and dedication, and bid a warm farewell to his Fabella family.

The Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital (DJFMH), through its Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Committee, honored ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐‹๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ž๐ฌ ๐‚. ๐Œ๐ž๐ง๐๐จ๐ณ๐š, Chief Administrative Officer, with a Retirement Recognition Award during the Flag Raising Ceremony on July 6, 2026, in recognition of her 42 years of dedicated and invaluable public service.

The Plaque of Retirement Recognition was presented by Dr. Salvador B. Evardone, MPH, MHA, CESE, Medical Center Chief II, together with the Executive Committee, following the reading of the citation by Dr. Estrella O. Jusi, Chairperson of the PRAISE Committee.

Ms. Mendoza also received floral tributes and commemorative cakes from the officials and staff of the departments under the Hospital Operations and Patient Support Service (HOPSS) and the Allied Health Professional Service as tokens of appreciation for her invaluable contributions to the institution.

In her retirement message, Ms. Mendoza reflected on a career that began on July 11, 1984, driven by a sincere desire to serve the public. She shared her journey from a clerical employee to Chief Administrative Officer, a position she held for 24 years, and recalled her years of service in the Administrative Service, now HOPSS, where she helped strengthen the hospital's administrative operations.

She expressed her gratitute to the hospital leadership, the Executive Committee, particularly Dr. Evardone, her mentors - former Medical Center Chiefs - the late Dr. Ricardo B. Gonzales, as well as Dr. Ruben C. Flores, and Dr. Esmeraldo T. llem -- for their invaluable guidance.

She also thanked the department heads of all services and her HOPSS family for their respect, support, and cooperation throughout her career.

Ms. Mendoza likewise expressed her gratitude to DJFMH for providing her with the opportunity to support her family and educate her children.

Reflecting on his 34 years of service, he valued the shared memories, friendship and lessons learned, while also wishing continued success for his colleagues.

Furthermore, Dr. Yoro encouraged the staff to continue pursuing excellence in advancing women's and newborn health, ending with the words, "Aim high, Fabella."

In Ms. Bernales' absence, her immediate supervisor, Ms. Ellen C. Ramos, Administrative Officer IV, of the Billing and Claims Department, accepted the award on her behalf.

Despite these difficulties, she expressed pride in the hospital's steady development and the strong, lasting relationships she built throughout her service.

Although her tenure as Chief Nurse was relatively brief at 54 months or four and a half years, she highlighted her leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic, a period marked by staff shortages, increased administrative demands, and the complexities of managing operations while transitioning to a new facility.

In response, she implemented key initiatives, including the hiring of temporary nurses and the expansion of services to strengthen hospital operations.

She expressed her gratitude towards her mentors, which included past Directors / Medical Center Chiefs and current leadership, notably Dr. Evardone.

She also recognized the former Chief Nurses she had the privilege of working with and learning from, the Professional Education, Training and Research Unit (PETRU), where she held the position of Training Specialist IV, her colleagues in the Executive Committee, and the nearly 700 nursing staff who contributed to institutional progress through standardization initiatives and nursing
development programs.

In her closing remarks, she encouraged her successor to carry on the ongoing reforms and maintain improvements in staffing, systems, and service delivery.

The ceremony concluded with commemorative photographs featuring the Executive and Expanded Management Committees, her spouse, and nursing executives, supervisors and staff celebrating this significant milestone.

In a separate segment of the program, Dr. Evardone likewise recognized Ms. Guia's years of dedicated service.
