On May 11, 2026, Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital officially held the blessing and inauguration of the new Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) and Cesarean Section (CS) Complex. The ceremonial ribbon-cutting was led by Medical Center Chief II, Dr. Salvador B. Evardone, MPH, MHA, CESE, alongside members of the hospital’s Executive Committee.

The modernization of the CSSD and CS Complex highlights the commitment of Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital to maternal and fetal excellence by integrating advanced infection control systems with an advanced cesarean section to ensure safer and more efficient delivery and care for mothers and infants.

Ngayong Araw ng mga Ina, ipinagdiriwang natin ang wagas na pagmamahal, katatagan, at sakripisyo ng bawat inang nagsisilbing ilaw at pag-asa ng kanilang pamilya. 💖

Sa Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital, libu-libong kwento ng bagong buhay at pag-ibig ang nagsisimula sa aming mga silid — mga kwentong puno ng tapang, pag-aaruga, at walang hanggang pagmamahal ng isang ina.

Ang “The Heart of Motherhood” ay sumasalamin sa bawat yakap, bawat luha ng saya, at bawat unang iyak ng sanggol na nagbibigay inspirasyon at pag-asa sa lahat. 🌸

🩺 PAGPUPUGAY SA MGA BAYANI NG KALUSUGAN! 💙

Nakikiisa ang Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital, sa pangunguna ng Health Employee’s Welfare, DJFMH Union, at ng Public Health Unit, sa pagdiriwang ng National Health Workers’ Day ngayong araw, May 7, 2026. Sa ilalim ng temang “Kapakanan, Karapatan, at Kalinga para sa Health Workers: Haligi ng Serbisyong Pangkalusugan para sa Lahat,” ating binibigyang-diin na sa bawat oras ng pag-aalaga, sakripisyo, at serbisyong ibinibigay ng ating mga Health Workers, maraming buhay ang nabibigyan ng pag-asa at paghilom. Mula sa mga doktor, nars, at midwives, hanggang sa ating mga admin at support staff—ang inyong dedikasyon ay nagsisilbing liwanag para sa maraming pamilyang Pilipino. Kayo ang tunay na sandigan ng ating komunidad at ang matibay na haligi ng ating sistemang pangkalusugan.

Isang malugod na pasasalamat ang aming ipinaabot sa lahat ng naging bahagi ng tagumpay ng pagdiriwang na ito sa Duque Hall. Taos-pusong pasasalamat sa ating Medical Center Chief II, Dr. Salvador B. Evardone, MPH, MHA, CESE, gayundin kina Ms. Lourdes C. Mendoza (Chief Administrative Officer), Ms. Nancy C. Guia (Nurse VII), Dr. Ann-Margaret T. Rodriguez (DJFMH-COOP), Ms. Maria Ursulita R. Umali (Midwifery School Principal II), Dr. Monina Taladua (Medical Specialist IV), Dr. Milabelle Pamitan-Estabillio (Medical Specialist IV), Dr. Mylette G. Delmas (Medical Specialist I), at Dr. Alferos - Saldua (Medical Specialist). Kinikilala rin namin ang mahalagang kontribusyon ng Employee’s Welfare Committee, Nutrition and Dietetics Dept., at ng DJFMH Medical Service Organizing Committee para sa inyong walang sawang pagsuporta.

Layunin nating ipadama ang kalinga na nararapat para sa ating mga kawani sa pamamagitan ng mga inihandang serbisyo tulad ng "Finding Peace" mental wellness corner, libreng bone scanning, free haircut, massage, at pamamahagi ng libreng gamot. Pagkatapos ng masayang salu-salo para sa lahat, naging highlight at huling bahagi ng ating programa ang isang masiglang pa-Zumba na nagpuno ng saya at enerhiya sa bawat isa. Sa lahat ng ating Fabella Health Workers, maraming salamat sa inyong serbisyong may puso. Karapat-dapat lamang na kayo ay kalingain, pahalagahan, at protektahan dahil kayo ang aming mga tunay na bayani. Mabuhay ang mga Health Workers!

🤝 Leading the Way in Maternal & Newborn Care Excellence! 🏥✨
It was an honor for Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital to open our doors to our colleagues from the Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center – Nursing Education, Training and Research Unit (NETRU) as a benchmarking partner for their Learning and Development Intervention for Midwives. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to strengthening maternal and newborn care through continuous learning, professional growth, and the application of evidence-based practices. At Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital, we take pride in being recognized for our expertise in midwifery and maternal health services, and we remain steadfast in supporting fellow institutions in their pursuit of excellence.

Our Medical Center Chief II, Dr. Salvador B. Evardone, MPH, MHA, CESE, warmly welcomed the representatives from JRRMMC–NETRU, together with Dr. Estrella O. Jusi, Chief of Medical Professional Staff II, Mr. Jose Alain F. Dela Merced, Nurse VI and Training Officer, and Ms. Ma. Nancy C. Guia, Chief Nurse. Through this initiative, we look forward to meaningful exchanges of knowledge in midwifery care practices, collaborative frameworks between Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives, training and development programs, and quality assurance systems.
