Raising children is one of the greatest blessings Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have entrusted to us. Looking back, our hearts are filled with deep gratitude because we were blessed to raise our children with faith, love, kindness, and respect at the center of our home.

We are deeply grateful not only for our small family but for the overwhelming love of our entire clan who became part of our children’s journey while growing up. Having our children surrounded by a loving family environment in our compound (the whole Rabe Clan including in-laws) was truly a blessing. They grew up witnessing laughter, unity, kindness, respect, and the beauty of family relationships. Because of this loving environment, our children learned that family means support, love, compassion, and being there for one another. It truly takes a village filled with love to help raise children with good hearts, and we are forever grateful for the strong family foundation that surrounded them.

We are far from perfect parents, but we tried our very best to teach them that kindness begins at home, love must always be given freely, and respect is something we carry wherever we go. Through every challenge, prayer became our strength, and our Savior, Jesus Christ, became our guide.

We are forever grateful to be part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where our family learned eternal values, strengthened our faith, and found direction in raising children who love God and honor others. The teachings of the gospel helped shape not only our children’s hearts but also ours as parents.

We are equally grateful for the beautiful role of Feliz Academy, Inc. in helping mold our children into who they are today. Beyond academics, the school became a partner in teaching discipline, good values, excellence, humility, compassion, and integrity. We deeply appreciate the teachers, mentors, and the loving environment that encouraged our children to grow with confidence, wisdom, and character. Truly, it takes a village filled with love, faith, and guidance to help raise good children.

Today, our hearts are full as we see the fruits of love, sacrifice, prayers, and God’s grace. We feel incredibly blessed that Heavenly Father trusted us to become parents to these wonderful children. No achievement compares to seeing them grow into loving, respectful, and kind individuals.

To our children: You will always be our greatest blessing, our answered prayers, and one of the greatest joys of our lives. Our love for you is unconditional and eternal.

May we always remember that strong families are built with love, kindness, faith in God, and Christlike example. Because at the end of the day, love truly begins at home. 🤍

There are days when the world feels too bright, thoughts racing like they can do anything… and there are days when even getting out of bed feels impossible. For someone living with bipolar disorder, life can feel like standing between two intense worlds—highs that feel unstoppable, and lows that feel heavy and silent.

But behind these shifts is a person who is trying every day.

There was someone who once felt ashamed of their changing moods. During their “high” moments, they felt powerful, creative, full of plans. But during their “low” moments, they felt guilty, tired, and misunderstood. People around them sometimes called them “too much” or “too distant,” not realizing the battle happening inside.

Until one day, they stopped fighting themselves—and started understanding themselves.

They learned that they are not their mood swings. They are not their worst days, and they are not just their highest moments. They are a whole person, learning balance, healing, and self-compassion step by step.

With support, patience, and treatment, the chaos slowly became more manageable. Not perfect—but more peaceful. Not easy—but more understood.

And most importantly, they realized:

Having bipolar disorder does not make someone broken. It means they are human, navigating emotions that are deeply intense—but still valid, still meaningful, still worthy of love.

To anyone walking the same journey: you are not alone. Your story is not over. Stability is possible. Peace is possible. And you are still enough, exactly as you are.

Not every fear is real—sometimes it’s our mind trying to protect us in the loudest, most overwhelming way. But healing reminds us: we are safe, we are seen, and we are not alone.

There are moments when thoughts become too heavy… when suspicion grows louder than truth, and the mind starts creating scenarios that were never real.

This is what paranoia can feel like—an inner noise that makes everything seem unsafe, even when there is no real danger.

But here is something gentle to hold on to:

Healing does not mean your thoughts will never get loud again. It means you slowly learn not to obey every fear that comes.

You begin to pause.
You begin to breathe.
You begin to question what is real and what is fear speaking.

And little by little, you return to the truth.

You are safe.
You are not what your thoughts tell you in your most anxious moments.
You are allowed to rest your mind.

True discipleship is not shown by position, title, or influence, it is revealed in how we treat others, especially when they are not around to defend themselves. A true disciple of Christ does not destroy, gossip, judge unfairly, or think evil of others. Instead, they choose kindness, understanding, and grace. Especially as leaders, we are called to protect unity, uplift hearts, and reflect Christlike love in both our words and thoughts. True leadership is not about being followed, it is about helping others feel loved, valued, and closer to God.

In a world where words can either wound or heal, may we choose to become instruments of healing. Because I believe, healing is not only physical, it also happens through compassion, understanding, kindness, and the way we care for one another. Let us be disciples who heal hearts, strengthen minds, and spread light wherever we go.

There are seasons in life when our hearts feel tired, broken, uncertain, or overwhelmed. As a nurse, a mother, a wife, and a servant of God, I’ve learned that peace doesn’t come when life becomes perfect, it comes when we choose to give our whole heart to the Lord.

Loving God with all our heart means trusting Him even when prayers take time to be answered, staying faithful even in hard days, and choosing Him not only in moments of joy but also in moments of pain.

Sometimes we give pieces of our heart to fear, worry, disappointment, or the opinions of others. But healing begins when we place our whole heart back into God’s hands. ❤️

Give your whole heart to God, for He deserves all of you.
Because when we love Him fully, He gently heals, strengthens, and leads us to where we are meant to be.

No matter what you are carrying today, remember: God is never far from a heart that seeks Him.🤍

People may forget the medicine you gave, but they will never forget how you made them feel.

As a nurse, I have learned that healing is not always found in medicines, procedures, or treatments alone. Sometimes, healing begins with something simple — compassion and patience.

Behind every patient is a story we may never fully understand. Some are carrying pain quietly. Some are afraid. Some are tired, frustrated, lonely, or silently fighting battles no one else can see.

In my work, I have met people who needed more than medical care. They needed someone to listen, someone to reassure them, someone who would treat them not just as a case or chart — but as a person.

There are days when work becomes exhausting, emotions run high, and patience is tested. But I always remind myself: What if this patient were my mother? My father? My husband? My child?

Compassion teaches me to slow down.
Patience teaches me to understand.
And kindness reminds me why I chose this profession.

As nurses, we may not always cure, but we can always comfort. We may not remove all pain, but we can help carry it — even for a little while.

To every healthcare worker, caregiver, and person trying to make this world softer for others: never underestimate the power of a gentle heart. Sometimes, the greatest healing begins when people feel seen, valued, and cared for.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers around the world! ❤️

Being a nurse taught me how to care for others, but being a mother taught me the deepest kind of love.

When I became pregnant with my eldest child, I made a choice straight from my heart...I stopped working to focus on raising my children. From my eldest to my youngest, I stayed by their side, caring for them, guiding them, and making sure they felt loved, protected, and supported every step of the way.

There were sacrifices, challenges, and moments of uncertainty, but I never regretted choosing my family first. Motherhood is not an easy journey, but it is one of the most beautiful callings God can give.

Now, as I continue my journey as a nurse, I carry with me the lessons of being a mother—patience, compassion, strength, and unconditional love. Because before I became a nurse to many, I was first a mother to my children. ❤️

To every mother who sacrifices silently, loves endlessly, and gives selflessly, you are appreciated, you are valued, and you are deeply loved.

There are wounds that cannot be seen by the eyes.
Some people smile in church, at work, in school, or even at home… while silently fighting battles in their minds and hearts.

As a nurse, service missionary, and someone who has listened to many stories of pain, I realized that healing does not always begin with answers. Sometimes, healing begins when someone finally feels heard.

That is why I love the word LISTEN.

L– Love sincerely
I– Invite them to talk
S – Stay calm
T– Take concerns seriously
E – Encourage professional help
N– Never judge

You do not need to be a psychiatrist to help someone.
Sometimes your presence, your kindness, your silence, and your willingness to listen can save a soul from giving up.

In a world where many people are struggling quietly, let us choose compassion over criticism, understanding over judgment, and love over indifference.

Because healing hearts and minds starts when people feel safe enough to say, “I’m not okay.”
