We joined the PHA “Alamat ng Pusong Pilipino” contest simply to participate and represent our chapter. Honestly, we were not expecting anything. We only had 3 days to practice as a complete team of performers, kaya no pressure talaga.

And yet, by Allah’s grace, we won.

I also never expected that our chapter would receive the Best Project Award.

Alhamdulillah. What a beautiful blessing and meaningful way to end my term as President of the Philippine Heart Association – Northwestern Mindanao Chapter.

This achievement was never mine alone. It belongs to every officer, member, and supporter who gave their time, effort, talent, and heart for the chapter.

Thank you, PHA Northwestern Mindanao family, for the trust, teamwork, and memories. Truly grateful to have shared this journey with all of you.

To Allah be all the glory. 🤍

Who would have 💭 thought….

Day 1:
Feeling mga artista sa convention😹😹😹

As I listened to the inspiring keynote lecture of Dr. Abanilla, I felt proud to be one of the pioneering doctors who helped establish the Heart Institute of Amai Pakpak Medical Center.

In less than a year, we were able to complete our Cath Lab, and today we are already performing primary PCI and Z-Ben CABG procedures — bringing advanced cardiovascular care closer to the people of Mindanao.

This milestone reminds me that leadership truly matters. When leaders lead with vision, integrity, and purpose, the whole team follows. Strong leadership inspires people to work together, believe in the mission, and achieve what once seemed impossible.

What started as a vision is now becoming a center of hope for many patients who need life-saving cardiac care.

Today, Amai Pakpak Medical Center is becoming part of Philippine history as one of the emerging regional heart centers serving the people of Lanao and nearby provinces — proving that quality cardiovascular care can reach even the most underserved communities through dedication, teamwork, and visionary leadership.
