🚨 MYTH BUSTER: Nakakasira nga ba ng kidney ang Metformin? 🚨

Marami ang natatakot uminom ng Metformin dahil baka raw masira ang kanilang bato o kidney. Pero ano nga ba ang totoo?

Ang sagot: HINDI PO. 🙅‍♂️❌

Narito ang katotohanan tungkol sa Metformin at Kidneys:

Ang DIABETES ang totoong kalaban:
Kapag hindi kontrolado ang iyong blood sugar, doon nasisira ang kidney. Ang Metformin ay tumutulong upang maprotektahan ang iyong bato sa pamamagitan ng pagpapababa ng sugar mo.

Bakit pinatitigil ng doktor kung minsan?
Kung may advanced kidney disease na ang pasyente (dahil sa ibang dahilan), nahihirapan na ang bato na ilabas ang gamot. Pinatitigil ito ng doktor para maiwasan ang komplikasyon, HINDI dahil ang Metformin ang nagpasira ng kidney.

💡 Ang Tandaan:
Huwag pong basta-basta hihinto sa pag-inom ng iyong maintenance nang walang payo ng doktor. Ang mataas na blood sugar ang mas mapanganib sa iyong kalusugan!
