โจ International AIDS Candlelight Memorial 2026 โจ
Theme: โLight the Legacy: Remember. Advance. Act. Keeping the Light Alive.โ
On May 27, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at BAMs Resto Bar, Masbate City, we gathered as one community to honor lives lost, support those living with HIV, and strengthen our commitment to ending stigma and discrimination. This meaningful event reminded us that remembrance is not just about the pastโit is a call to action. By keeping the light alive, we continue to educate, advocate, and empower individuals toward a future free from HIV-related stigma.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our inspiring speakers who shared their knowledge, experiences, and passion:
๐Charlaine Mae C. Leones โ Peer Educator, CBS Motivator, FPOP Kabataan Chairperson
๐Isidro A. Abelita Jr., RN โ HIV Coordinator, PHO Masbate
๐Ma. Teresa M. Arollado, MD โ HIV & AIDS, STI Coordinator, City Health Office Masbate
Your voices ignited awareness and strengthened our collective responsibility to act.
We also express our deepest appreciation to our partner agencies for their unwavering support and collaboration:
DOH, CHO, PHO, OC, SBC, LDMC, MC, MNCHS, MASON, RED CROSS, PHILHEALTH, DSWD, City Government of Masbate, and AGA Inc.
๐ค Together, we remember.
๐ค Together, we advance.
๐ค Together, we act.
Let us continue to keep the light aliveโnot just today, but every day.
