Provincial Administrator MGen Jose Eriel Niembra, representing Gov. Nelson L. Dayanghirang, received the recognitions on behalf of the province, participating local government units, and schools.
Delivering the Governorโs message, Niembra said the achievement also sets a higher benchmark for the province, as the Provincial Government pushes toward 100 percent Healthy Settings certification for the remaining workplaces and schools in Davao Oriental.
The results were attributed to the collective work of the Provincial Health Office, led by PHO II Dr. Reden V. Bersaldo, and Provincial HEPO Darlene Sherill Fernandez, together with LGU Health and Nutrition Clusters, SDO officials, school heads and focal persons, and LGU human resource units.
With more institutions still working toward certification, the province now aims to extend the same standards across Davao Oriental.
