Our ministry covers helping abandoned, abused, and homeless children, and we offer them safe shelter to live in. We also help and support missionaries in their mission field. We help conduct medical checks on the actual site we visited and provide school supplies they need and other stuff they could use.

Why Do We Do This for the Children?

Because every child deserves a chance.

A chance to learn.
A chance to dream.
A chance to feel safe, loved, and valued.
A chance to discover who they can become.

We do this because we believe that investing in children is investing in the future.

The lessons we teach today may become the confidence they carry tomorrow. The encouragement we give today may become the strength they need later in life.

House of Joy is not just about providing a place for children to learn. It is about planting seeds—seeds of knowledge, kindness, confidence, faith, and hope.

We may not know where every seed will grow, but we trust God with the harvest.

This is why we continue.
For the children.
For their future.

Why House of Joy Continues?

When I look at this picture, I see more than children in a classroom. I see hope, growth, confidence, and joy.
This is why House of Joy continues.
Every lesson, every activity, and every little accomplishment is an opportunity to plant a seed in a child's life. We want every child to have a safe place to learn, discover their gifts, build confidence, and know that someone believes in them.
The building may be complete, but the mission continues.
There are still children to reach, lives to encourage, and futures to help shape.
Looking at these smiling faces reminds us that every prayer, every sacrifice, and every act of generosity was worth it.
This is why we serve.
This is why we continue.
This is House of Joy. ❤️

There were so many unknowns. But God reminded me that the vision was never dependent on what I had in my hands. It was dependent on who was leading us.
One person believing in the vision at a time.
And today, I stand in awe because what once felt impossible is now a reality.
House of Joy is fully operational. ❤️
The walls are no longer just walls. They have become a place of love, care, hope, growth, and new beginnings. What began with uncertainty has become a testimony of God's faithfulness.
Looking back, I realize that the fear I felt in the beginning was not the end of the story. It was simply part of the journey that taught me to trust God beyond what I could see.
To every person who prayed, gave, encouraged, supported, donated, volunteered, or simply believed in House of Joy—thank you. You are part of this testimony.
Today, we don't just celebrate a completed building. We celebrate God's provision, faithfulness, and the power of believing in a vision He placed in our hearts.
I may have started with questions, but God answered them with provision.
I started with fear, but He gave me faith.
I started with a vision, and today, I can walk through the doors and see the testimony.
House of Joy is no longer just a dream. It is a living testimony.
And this is only the beginning.
One prayer.
One child.
One life.
One day at a time.

# # **Behind the Vision of House of Joy**

When we first started the process of building the new House of Joy. I was excited—but honestly, I was also afraid.

I kept asking myself:

“Can I afford this?
“How will we raise enough donations?”
“What if we start and can't finish?”
“What if we don't have enough?”

The project felt so much bigger than what I had in my hands.

But I realized something: sometimes fear comes when God is asking us to step into something bigger than ourselves.

I was looking at what I didn't have instead of looking at the God who gave me the vision.

Fear said, “You can't do this.”
Faith reminded me, “God will make a way.”

House of Joy did not begin because I had everything figured out. It began because I chose to trust God and take the first step.

And along the way, God has continued to provide—through people, donations, opportunities, and unexpected blessings.

Looking back, I can see that the fear was never meant to stop the vision. It was an opportunity to trust God more.

House of Joy is more than a building. It is a testimony that when God gives you a vision, He will also make a way.

I may not know how every need will be met, but I know who is leading us.

One step. One prayer. One provision at a time.

To God be all the glory. ❤️

Watching you grow every day is the greatest gift, and we are so incredibly proud of the steps you are taking. As you open your books and work hard at your schoolwork, you are opening up your bright futures. Remember that the mind God gave you is powerful, capable, and meant to do great things. Every time you try a difficult problem or read a new page, you are growing into the leaders this world needs.

Now that the new building is partially completed, we are delighted to welcome both new and returning children to enjoy their class, explore the classroom, and learn through play with the toys and resources provided. Thanks to the many helping hands that worked tirelessly to make this possible, the new facility is now officially operating.

We are deeply grateful for God's provision, guidance, and grace throughout this journey. Through every challenge, He has faithfully sustained this ministry. We trust that He will continue to watch over and protect House of Joy, blessing the children, families, volunteers, and everyone involved in this mission.

What began as only a plan for the new House of Joy charity building became a reality through God's faithful provision. He supplied the resources, the people, and the support needed to bring this vision to life. Today, we celebrate a stronger and more resilient building, designed to better withstand nature's challenges, including powerful typhoons. We give all glory to God for His guidance, protection, and abundant blessings.
