According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, artery blockage occurs when fatty deposits, cholesterol, and other substances build up in the arteries—a condition known as atherosclerosis. Over time, this buildup can narrow the arteries, restrict blood flow, and increase the risk of serious heart conditions.

Preventing artery blockage starts with healthy lifestyle choices such as balanced nutrition, regular exercise, managing blood pressure and cholesterol levels, avoiding smoking, and having routine medical check-ups. Early detection and proper management are key to protecting your heart health.

Learn more about by watching Dr. Paul Quetua, Electrophysiologist of the Asian Cardiovascular Institute, tomorrow, February 28, 2026, 1:00 PM, via 105.9 True FM, Satlite TV,
