The celebration of is the perfect opportunity to acknowledge the central role of Family Doctors in the delivery of personal, comprehensive and continuing health care for all patients globally.

In Asian Hospital, this role includes maintaining employees’ health, involvement in the hospital’s vaccination efforts, serving as COVID frontliners, engagement in home care and Telemedicine, and providing hospice and palliative care.

We celebrate the life of Dr. Manuel A. Madayag, who passed away in the USA at the age of 83 after a lingering illness.

We celebrate the life of Dr. Manuel A. Madayag, who passed away in the USA at the age of 83 after a lingering illness.

A member of the American College of Radiology with origins from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, New York University, Wayne State University, and Chicago Illinois. He was with Asian Hospital and Medical Center (AHMC) since its inauguration in 2002. He was also AHMC’s first Chair of the Radiology Department.

He was a dedicated Interventional Radiologist who designed the Madayag biopsy needle. He will be remembered best as a gentleman, a mentor, and a wise father figure who was generous with life advice.

Dr. Manny will be missed.
