Filiform warts are benign skin growths caused by Human Papillomavirus or HPV and appear as flesh-colored projections on the face, eyelids, neck, etc. For this patient, the lesion appeared on the eyelid border and was removed by electrocauterization.

For these kinds of lesions, we would need to do a skin biopsy to arrive at a definite diagnosis and possibly blood tests to check for other co-morbidities. We would also need to refer her to other specialists for co-management if necessary.
