First Pedsmaster Ultimate Quiz Show: Residents Edition wrapped up the year on a high note!
PedsMaster is usually a monthly, Jeopardy-style showdown of rotating Pedia PGIs, but this time, our residents took the spotlight. The questions covered a wide range of pediatric fields: General Pediatrics, Infectious Diseases, Neonatology, Critical Care, Pulmonology, and more. Beyond the competition, the goal was simple: to strengthen camaraderie and sharpen clinical knowledge through teamwork and friendly rivalry.
The match was seriously close. Team Pedia Bibis (Drs. Kezia Carable, Robie Edem, Gelo Songuya, A***n Abinal, Mond Basilonia, Mary Maravillas, and Bea Parra) narrowly beat E-Team (Drs. Ems Sanchez, Anjz Mariano, Lily Xiao, Vanie Aguirre, Karol Octeza, and Vinni Macandog) by just 35 points, taking home ₱12,000 in cash and Starbucks GCs.
