Itโ€™s Prelims Week, Ateneans!

Test anxiety is a standard stress responseโ€”nearly every college student experiences it to some degree. But remember: by combining stress-relief practices, a purpose-driven mindset, proactive time-management routines, and self-care, you can effectively manage test anxiety and perform at your absolute best under pressure.

Take a deep breath, trust your preparation, and remember your "why." Good luck on your exams, and One Big Fight! โœจ๐Ÿ“š

ORSEM continues to be one of the finest examples of how the Ateneo community comes together in service. Every contributionโ€”big or smallโ€”helped make this year's orientation a meaningful and memorable experience for our newest Ateneans.

Behind this two-day event were nearly three months of planning, preparation, coordination, and collaboration. Countless individuals worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that every detail was thoughtfully prepared, and every participant experienced a meaningful welcome into Ateneo life.

To everyone who servedโ€”from our university offices and staff to our facilitators, committee members, volunteers, and partnersโ€”thank you for your unwavering commitment, generosity, and dedication.

Your collective efforts brought this year's theme, "Kompas: Charting Your Atenean Journey," to life.

The theme reminds us that university life is not merely about schedules, grades, and deadlines. Rather, it is an invitation to navigate one's Atenean journey with purpose, discernment, faith, and service. It encourages every student to discover their "true north" through meaningful engagement with the Ateneo community and by embracing the values that define an Atenean education.

As our freshmen begin charting their own Atenean journey, may ORSEM continue to serve as their first guide toward a life of purpose, excellence, faith, and service.

Dios Mabalos!

Sincerely,

The College Guidance Center Family
