Ormoc District Hospital, under the Province of Leyte, celebrated the ๐๐๐ก๐๐ฅ๐๐ฃ๐ค ๐๐ค๐๐๐๐ก ๐๐ค๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐จ' ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ last June 19. With this yearโs theme, "๐ด๐๐๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐

The activity featured an orientation on the social workers programs and services in the institution followed by an open forum participated by OPD hospital staff, patients and their caregivers. Participants were encouraged to partner with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure accessible and holistic health and social services. Moreover, our medical social workers were also given recognition whose compassion, commitment, and unwavering service help address the diverse needs of patients, families, and communities.
The celebration concluded with a renewed pledge among the hospital's medical social workers to uphold professionalism, compassion, and excellence in service. Overall, the event inspired continued dedication to public service, and reaffirmed Ormoc District Hospital's commitment to supporting the noble mission of social workers in advancing the health and well-being of every Filipino through unity and bayanihan, particularly those belonging to vulnerable and marginalized sectors of society.
