Pharmacies in the Philippines need to be airconditioned primarily to maintain strict temperature controls that protect the potency, safety, and shelf-life of medications. Without climate control, the country's persistent high heat and humidity will cause chemical degradation in many drugs, rendering them ineffective.

Why Temperature Control is CriticalDrug Stability:
Most general medications are labeled for "controlled room temperature," requiring an environment between 15°C and 25°C. If ambient temperatures exceed this (especially surpassing 30°C), vital medicines like antibiotics, vitamins, and certain syrups can rapidly break down.

Regulatory Compliance:
The Philippine Food and Drug Administration (FDA) enforces Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and Good Storage Practices (GSP). To maintain a valid License to Operate (LTO) from the FDA, a drugstore must prove it can reliably provide the proper storage environments required by drug manufacturers.

Humidity Control:
Air conditioning units reduce moisture in the air. High humidity is particularly damaging to tablets, capsules, and powders, causing them to clump, degrade, or dissolve prematurely.

Sensitive Biologicals:
While air conditioning handles the general dispensary area, pharmacies also rely on it to keep the ambient heat down, which allows their pharmaceutical-grade refrigerators (required to be kept at 2°C to 8°C for vaccines and insulin) to function efficiently without overheating.

For decades, cancer treatment has often been associated with surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy.

But one physician scientist set out to explore a different path.

Dr. Patrick Soon Shiong, a billionaire entrepreneur, surgeon, and researcher, has spent years developing an approach designed to help the body's own immune system recognize and respond to cancer more effectively.

At the center of his work are natural killer cells, a type of immune cell that acts as one of the body's first lines of defense.

Rather than targeting cancer with traditional chemotherapy alone, the goal is to strengthen and activate these cells so they can better identify and respond to abnormal cells throughout the body.

The research has attracted worldwide attention because it focuses on harnessing the body's existing biological defenses.

It represents a growing area of medicine that seeks to work alongside the immune system rather than relying exclusively on conventional treatments.

While researchers continue studying and evaluating these approaches, the idea has sparked excitement among scientists and patients alike.

A reminder that some of the most promising advances in medicine begin with a simple question: what if the body already holds some of the tools needed to fight disease?

It should be from up to down, or from the va**na then down. Not from down to up or from the a**s to the va**na. Why? Because when wiping from down to up, you are pushing the bacteria from your a**s to your va**na. That causes Urinary Tract Infection.
