The Philippine Red Cross Ozamiz City Chapter, in collaboration with the LABO NHS SRCY conducted its first ever Youth Volunteer Formation Course (YVFC) together with the YVFC facilitators last July 25 - 26, 2026. This program also served as a platform for values formation and team development, challenging participants to promote teamwork, cooperation, leadership, and unity while creating a stronger commitment to humanitarian action. Through interactive activities, discussions, and shared experiences, participants were encouraged to embody and uphold the Seven Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement: Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity, and Universality.

The Philippine Red Cross Ozamiz City Chapter successfully concluded its First Aid Station & Foot Patrol Duty during the Perangat Festival 2026 held on July 16, 2026, at the Ozamiz City Hall Grounds.
With the collective efforts of our responders, volunteers, and partner agencies, 79 documented patients were catered to and provided with prompt first aid and medical assistance throughout the celebration, helping to ensure the safety and well-being of festival-goers from the beginning until the conclusion of the event.

This program also served as a platform for values formation and team development, challenging participants to promote teamwork, cooperation, leadership, and unity while creating a stronger commitment to humanitarian action.
