20 years.

It sounds like such a long time, but somehow, it feels like it was only yesterday.
I can still remember the moment when I called my spouse and asked him to help me come up with a name for the company. He told me to include “TouchStar” in the name because, it represented a dream worth pursuing, a dream worth reaching for, no matter how difficult the journey might be.

Back then, we could only imagine what that dream might become. We had no idea where it would take us, how many challenges we would face, or how many people we would meet along the way.

Today, after 20 years, I look back with a heart full of gratitude.

During Mass today, the priest said something that really struck me.

A house blessing is not magic. A company blessing does not mean that the company will automatically prosper or grow. The priest does not bless the computers, tables, chairs, machines, or equipment.
Rather, a blessing is an invitation.
We invite God into our home. We invite Him into our workplace. We invite Him to be part of what we do, so that His presence can make that place a blessing to others.
And perhaps that is the real purpose of Touchstar.
Not simply to become a bigger company. Not simply to earn more or achieve more. But to become a blessing.

A blessing to our clients who have trusted us.
A blessing to our suppliers who have journeyed with us.
A blessing to our employees and their families whose lives have become part of our story.
A blessing to the people we have met and helped along the way.
Because at the end of the day, the greatest measure of what we have built is not found in our equipment, our offices, our numbers, or even our achievements.
It is in the lives we have touched.

Today, I don't just pray that Touchstar will continue to grow. I pray that Touchstar will continue to be an instrument of peace, love, hope, and joy.

A Milestone Built on Trust, Courage, and Partnership

Every meaningful journey begins with a leap of faith.

For Touchstar Medical Enterprises, that journey began in 2014, when we installed our Nihon Kohden Hematology Analyzer at Mother Hospital – City of General Trias Doctors Medical Center. At that time, Touchstar was still building its name, its credibility, and its place in the industry. What we had was not scale or volume, but commitment, integrity, and the determination to deliver quality service.
It was in that first installation where trust was born.
They believed in Touchstar’s capability, and that belief became the foundation of everything that followed. The successful installation and performance of that single machine proved that Touchstar could be relied upon—not only for equipment, but for service, accountability, and long-term support.

That trust opened the door to a defining moment in our journey.
In January 2016, Touchstar entered into its first-ever Private Hospital Memorandum of Agreement for a full laboratory set-up with no cash out, a bold and pioneering partnership model at the time.
Silang Specialist Medical Center became the first private hospital to believe in this vision and entrust Touchstar with the responsibility of building and supporting their laboratory operations.

It was more than a business agreement.
It was a partnership built on confidence, shared goals, and mutual respect.

Today, more than ten years later, that partnership continues to stand strong. It is a powerful testament to what can be achieved when trust, performance, and commitment come together. Touchstar remains deeply grateful for the continued confidence of Specialists Group and the other hospital partners who have grown with us through the years.
