Therapy Services:
KIDS’ SPOT therapy services include a comprehensive evaluation, child-centered intervention program and recommendations for home and school integration, parent education, and awareness-advocacy. Occupational therapy (OT) provides child- and family-centered evaluation and intervention for children with developmental delays and difficulties in their daily roles. OT services use occupation-based intervention that focuses on work behaviors, sensory processing, self-care, and socialization. Services promote a child’s participation in his/her occupations such as in play, school and the community. Our occupational therapists are licensed under the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and are regular members of the Philippine Academy of Occupational Therapists (PAOT), Inc. Physical therapy (PT) service is directed towards the facilitation of a child’s physical developmental milestones through the use of modalities, strengthening, flexibility, balance, and coordination techniques to achieve optimum function needed for play and daily living. Our physical therapists are licensed under the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Speech language pathology (SLP) services specialize in the assessment, diagnosis and management of children with speech, language and communication disorders. SLP aims to improve children’s quality of living by developing their abilities to understand language and communicate effectively in order to participate in the different social contexts they are in. Our speech and language pathologists are certified members of the Philippines Association of Speech Pathologists (PASP)

School Readiness Program (SRP) promotes physical, cognitive, social and emotional development of children ages 2.5 to 4.8 prior to their immersion in a bigger school setting. SRP offers multi-sensory teaching-learning strategies to enhance a child's learning capabilities and strengths. Our Early Intervention Class (EIC) incorporates a multi-sensory learning approach that encourages children with special needs to utilize their primitive and basic senses to learn and understand cognitive concepts, such as alphabet, numbers, colors, and shapes. EIC applies a routine to introduce and facilitate structure in their daily lives. Based on their cognitive level, each child's program is individualized to fit their current learning skills and monitor their progress. Tutorial services are offered for children in preschool to grade 6 levels. One-on-one and group sessions are available, depending on each child's learning needs.

Our Friday kids had extra fun working on language development, communication, fine motor coordination, executive functions, and functional life skills while making homemade lemonade.🍋✨

Thank you, teacher Kris from sharing your activity with everyone.🧡💚💙

Wiping tables, folding towels, sweeping floors. 🧽 🧺 🧹

Simple chores can double as therapy by helping children build strength, coordination, sequencing, body awareness, and independence in everyday life.

Start small, keep it safe, and celebrate effort. 💪⭐

Ice sensory bins are excellent, low-cost activities for toddlers and preschoolers that promote fine motor skills, scientific exploration, and sensory development. By adding ice, water, and tools to a bin, children can engage in melting, pouring, and scooping activities that encourage cognitive growth and provide cooling, tactile stimulation

Toddler tip: Offer choices, not commands.

Giving toddlers two simple choices helps them feel in control while still giving them structure. It builds independence, cooperation, and confidence without turning every moment into a power struggle.

Try this at home:
“Shoes or sandals?”
“Book or puzzle?”
“Blue cup or red cup?”

Behind every milestone (big or small) is a parent who never stopped showing up.

In pediatric therapy, progress isn’t just built in sessions…it’s nurtured at home, in the little moments, every single day.

To your child, you’re more than “just mom”. You’re their encouragement, their comfort, their world. 🌍

✨ And that makes all the difference in their growth.

💬 Tag a parent who’s doing an amazing job.
💾 Save this for a reminder on the hard days.

A Colorful and Fragrant Mother’s Day Week at Kids’ S.P.O.T. 🌸

Our dear students had fun creating Mother’s day gifts this week, while practicing their therapy goals. We even had a mini flower shop set up by our Monday social skills group. 💐

Thank you to our therapists and teachers Monique and Jet for leading the project, Ms. Meyie for coordinating, and teacher Nina for supplying the flowers.🧡💚💙
