✨ What is We Thinkers!® (by Social Thinking)? ✨

We Thinkers!® is a play-based social skills curriculum created by Social Thinking for young children.

Instead of teaching kids rigid rules like “Say this” or “Don’t do that,” We Thinkers! teaches children how to think socially — the foundation for real, meaningful, and lasting social skills.

🧠 What does We Thinkers! teach?

Children learn to:
• Understand their own thoughts and feelings
• Notice what others may be thinking and feeling
• Recognize how their behavior affects others
• Be flexible when things don’t go their way
• Join play, take turns, and stay with a group
• Manage frustration, waiting, and changes
• Build early friendship skills

🌱 Who is this especially helpful for?

We Thinkers! supports children who:
• Struggle with peer interaction
• Have difficulty with transitions or flexibility

👉 No diagnosis is required for this group to be beneficial.

🎲 How is it taught?

Through stories, play, and guided interaction.

The curriculum uses fun characters (the “We Thinkers!”) and child-friendly concepts like:
• Thinking about others
• Being part of the group
• Expected vs. unexpected behaviors
• Flexible vs. stuck thinking

In a small group setting, therapists coach children in real time while they:
• Play games
• Do crafts
• Practice turn-taking
• Solve simple social problems together
