Health Regulation Division, Ministry of Health, conducted monitoring at IDH.

The MOH-Health Regulation Division, also known as the Regulation Licensing Enhancement Division (RLED), headed by Dr. Ehsan Paudac, recently conducted monitoring and inspection at IDH. The purpose of the monitoring was to assess, monitor, and inspect the different areas and units of IDH and its operations, to verify adherence to the minimal requirements for licensure set by the DOH and MOH-HRD, and to provide support and help to IDH.

The monitoring was conducted on July 31, 2024. This was attended by the IDH unit heads, spearheaded by Dr. Harris D. Macapeges, the Chief of Hospital and was assisted by Mr. Catalino Molina Jr., RN, MAN the Chief Administrative Officer-Designate.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Health Regulation Division, Ministry of Health headed by Dr. Ehsan Paudac for conducting this monitoring and providing valuable feedback to help us continuously improve our quality healthcare services.

July 30, 2024. The Nutrition Month Culmination Activity with a theme: "Sa PPAN Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para Sa Lahat".

The activity took place at Iranon District Hospital, facilitated by Arrah June Baybay, RND - Nutritionist Dietitian, and Jimema Jasmin Bilalang, RN - Nutrition Focal Person, with the full support of Dr. Harris Macapeges, Chief of Hospital, and the Administrative Staff.

A nutrient quiz and an on-the-spot fruit carving contest were part of the activity. The participants in the said contest are representatives from different units of IDH.

The activity aims to raise awareness of the importance of proper nutrition and encourage everyone to practice healthy habits consisting of healthier food options.

Psychosocial Support Provided at Matanog, Maguindanao del Norte, on July 18 and 19, 2024.

Psychosocial support was provided to children and adults at Matanog, Maguindano del Norte, who were affected by the following flood that happened on July 9, 2024.

It was a two-day activity and a collaborative efforts between IPHO-Maguindanao, Maguindanao Provincial Hospital, Iranon District Hospital, Rural Health Unit of Matanog and Community and Family Services International (CFSI) Mental Health Teams.

The initiative aimed to foster emotional well-being and resilience in the affected community through culturally sensitive activities, psychoeducation, and stress management exercises.

Iranon District Hospital is Now Accredited as Level 1 Adolescent Friendly Hospital Facility.

Alhamdulillah!
We are thrilled to announce that we have successfully met the requirements of the recent assessment and evaluation of the Adolescent-Friendly Health Facility conducted by the Ministry of Health (BARMM) on July 19, 2024. We could not have achieved this without the unwavering dedication of our team and without the support of the Chief of Hospital, Dr. Harris Macapeges and the Administrative Staff.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to everyone at Iranon District Hospital, to Hana Tangurak, RN, the AHDP focal person, and to all the AHDP team who worked tirelessly towards this remarkable achievement. We are proud of the hard work and commitment that each and every one of you has demonstrated in making this possible.

We would also like to express our gratitude to the Ministry of Health (BARMM) for conducting the assessment and evaluation and providing valuable feedback to help us further improve our services. We are grateful for your recommendations and suggestions, and we will continue to take them into account as we work towards achieving Level 2 accreditation.
