A Breath-Holding Moment 🤍

This little lad really took my breath away today. ❤️

When she came out, he didn’t cry right away. Thank God our pediatrician was there, and after a few minutes, we finally heard that precious first cry.

I kept telling the midwife, “Please, kindly rub her back,” anxiously waiting for that sound we all wanted to hear.

And then, finally he cried. 🥹

The relief that washed over me was indescribable. I simply whispered, “Thank You, God. You did not leave us.” 🙏❤️

One of those moments in the delivery room that reminds us just how precious and miraculous life truly is.

There are moments in this profession that truly remind me why I love what I do. ❤️

Seven years ago, I had the privilege of delivering this amazing mom’s second baby. Since then, life has taken me abroad for work most of the time, so she wasn’t sure if I was still practicing here in the Philippines.

One day, out of the blue, she sent me a message asking, “Doc, are you here in the Philippines?” When she found out I was, she happily shared that she was expecting her third baby.

Fast forward to today—I had the honor of welcoming her third precious child into the world. 🩷👶

There is something incredibly special about being trusted again and again through life’s most important milestones. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your growing family’s journey. Your trust is a gift that I will always cherish.

Congratulations to this beautiful family on your newest blessing! Wishing your little one a lifetime of good health, love, and happiness. ❤️
