AFGH JOINS DOH MEASLES-RUBELLA SUPPLEMENTAL IMMUNIZATION ACTIVITY

The Air Force General Hospital (AFGH) has officially commenced its participation in the Department of Health’s (DOH) Ligtas Tigdas Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (SIA), in partnership with Barangay 183 and the Pasay City Health.

As part of this important public health initiative, the AFGH Pediatric and Outpatient Department (OPD) will provide free measles-rubella vaccination and vitamin A administration to qualified dependents and authorized civilians every Wednesday throughout the month of June 2026, from 08:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m.

The campaign aims to protect children aged 6 to 59 months against measles and rubella, helping strengthen community immunity and prevent the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases. Parents and guardians are encouraged to avail of this opportunity and ensure that their children receive the protection they need for a healthier future.
