🦋 SMALL GLAND. BIG ROLE IN YOUR HEALTH.
Your thyroid may be a small gland in your neck, but the hormones it produces influence many important body functions—including metabolism, heart rate, body temperature, energy levels, muscle function, digestion, and weight.
When thyroid hormones become too high or too low, symptoms can sometimes be subtle or mistaken for stress, fatigue, or other conditions.
Watch for possible changes such as unexplained weight gain or loss, unusual fatigue or weakness, palpitations, heat or cold intolerance, tremors, changes in bowel habits, or changes in mood and sleep.
Experiencing these symptoms does not automatically mean you have a thyroid disorder. Proper medical assessment and appropriate laboratory testing are important.
