In Happy Nest, we make sure that we provide spiritual inspiration, guidance and upliftment to our patients. These include daily group prayer, monthly Holy Sacrament of Eucharist and regular visits by various religious leaders and groups.

Our HOME is always filled with love, peace and joy because we make our Lord Jesus the center and reason for everything.

Daily activities for our patients? Not a problem at all!

Our care staff’s strengths are their creativity and resourcefulness. We have to give credit to them as they are constantly able to provide fun, interesting and productive tasks for our elders.

With simple but well thought out activities, our patients continue to improve by leaps and bounds on their cognitive skills, fine motor skills, mental agility, among others.

Puzzle solving is one of the most sought after activities of our elders if they just want to be on a relaxed and meditative mood.

There is something about puzzle tasks that are endearing to our elders. Maybe because it perfectly captures the metaphor of piercing life together through the years.

An excellent mental workout, it boosts short-term memory and delays cognitive decline.

We could not help but be constantly proud of our patients with dementia for accomplishing difficult activities.

They can understand and follow instructions, easily. They can perform the objectives, perfectly. They can finish every task, quickly.

And the red cups are out, once again! 🥤🥤🥤

Our elders were back to using simple activity tools for a task that was complicated, confusing, challenging but extremely fun! The red cups had to be stacked either up or down. The activity tested our elders’ attention , memory and processing speed.

Another day, another lovely afternoon of arts and crafts for our patients.

With relaxed minds, happy mindset and free spirit, our elders created works of art using pastel paints and sponge.

Happy Nest was filled with canvasses of expression of love, joy and peace. After all, emotions and mental health are the most important in our home.
