🌱 Help your teen build meaningful connections—starting at home.

Sometimes, the most meaningful conversations with our teens begin with the simplest questions and those moments can become the foundation for lasting connection.

Join The Medical City Institute of Pediatrics and Center for Developmental Pediatrics for this month’s Parent Class in the Language Series: From Conversations to Connections: Helping Teens Thrive Socially.

Together, we'll explore how everyday conversations can help teens feel heard, build confidence, navigate friendships, and develop the social skills they need to flourish.

Come learn, reflect, and grow with other parents as we discover how small changes in the way we communicate can make a lasting difference.

Early Intervention Makes a Difference!

The first five years of life are an incredible time of growth and learning. During this stage, children develop new skills rapidly, making it the ideal time to build strong foundations for lifelong learning and help them reach their fullest potential.

Our Early Intervention Program offers three placement levels designed to meet each child's unique developmental needs. Placement is determined based on your child's chronological age and Present Levels of Functioning.

A Special Education Teacher will conduct an informal skills assessment to better understand your child's strengths and areas for growth. The assessment looks at:
⭐️ Work Behavior
⭐️ Attending Skills
⭐️ Imitation Skills
⭐️ Language Skills
⭐️ Cognitive Skills
⭐️ Executive Functioning Skills
⭐️ Play Skills
⭐️ Social Skills

Every child is unique, and our goal is to provide the support they need to learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing environment.

Interested in learning more? We'd love to hear from you! Send a message to Center for Developmental Pediatrics, and we'll be happy to answer your questions and guide you through the next steps.

The greatest impact on a child’s future begins long before the classroom—it begins in the earliest years of life. The earliest years build the foundation for a lifetime.

Join us for Plenary 2 of the PSDBP 7th Regional Scientific Symposium: I.N.C.L.U.D.E. 2026, featuring Dr. Jacqueline Navarro, as she presents:

“Starting Early in Primary Care: Inclusive Approaches to Early Childhood Development.”

Because when we recognize developmental needs early, support families promptly, and make primary care inclusive, every child is given a stronger start and a better chance to thrive.
