The success of the Bangsamoro Surgical Outreach Program is the result of countless hours of planning, coordination, patient screening, and seamless collaboration. From the very first preparations to the final operation, the Nursing Department stood at the heart of every step, ensuring that every patient received safe, compassionate, and quality care.
Beyond the operating rooms were the quiet acts of service that often go unnoticedβorganizing logistics, preparing equipment, coordinating teams, comforting patients, and keeping every detail in place. These unseen efforts became the foundation of a successful outreach that brought healing and hope to many.
What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that, despite the demanding pace of the outreach and the busy operating schedules, our nurses remained committed to their role as educators. They continued to guide, mentor, and teach student nurses, turning every challenge into a valuable learning opportunity. In the midst of serving patients, they also shaped the next generation of compassionate healthcare professionals.
