To help keep the school safe, Campus Emergency Response Team (CERT) President Ronie Balcueva and the Batch 1 participants from different SLSU campuses finished an intensive safety training on June 20, 2026, at the Main Campus CEn AVR.

The hands-on training focused on vital life-saving skills, including Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR, Choking (FBAO) Management, and Proper Emergency Response Procedures.

This successful event was made possible through the help of the CERT Federation. The organization also gives a big thank you to the Federal CERT for donating brand-new medical kits, which will greatly help the team respond to school emergencies.
