We at Heramil Hospital conduct fire and earthquake drills because we understand that we are one of the high-risk environments where safety and preparedness are critical.
These drills ensure that staff, patients, and visitors can respond effectively during emergencies.
⚖️ Why Hospitals Must Do These Drills
- Hospitals house people who are sick, injured, or immobile, making them more vulnerable in disasters.
- Staff need to coordinate across multiple departments (ER, wards, operating rooms, hemodialysis, rehab).
- Hospitals are critical infrastructure—if they fail during a disaster, the entire community’s emergency response is weakened.
In short, these drills are not just routine—they are lifesaving practices that protect patients, staff, and the broader community.
We would like to thank BFP Polomolok for facilitating the training, ensuring quality on our fire alarms and staff's readiness during disasters.
THINK SAFETY, ACT SAFELY!
