That amazing moment when you're looking through upcoming professional development events and realize one of the keynote speakers was your university professor! 🤯

I just saw that Dr. Roger Davis is leading the opening session at the upcoming 2nd Clinical Psychology Professional Conference on August 5th. Having him as my professor for Advanced Theories of Personality was an incredible experience, so it’s no surprise to see him breaking down complex topics like the DSM-5-TR Alternative Model and ICD-11 on a national stage.

Highly recommend registering for this if you're in the field—his insights are top-tier! 🧠✨

✨ SPEAKER REVEAL: Meet Dr. Roger Davis for Session 1! ✨

How do we move past rigid diagnostic categories to capture the true fluid spectrum of personality pathology? We are thrilled to introduce our first distinguished speaker for the 2nd Clinical Psychology Professional Conference, who will help us shift our lenses and dive deep into contemporary diagnostic shifts!

🎙️ Meet Dr. Roger Davis
A licensed psychologist specializing in personality pathology and anxiety disorders, Dr. Davis earned his PhD from the University of Miami under the legendary Dr. Theodore Millon. As the former Research Network Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Personology and Psychopathology, he played a pivotal role in constructing and validating major clinical instruments—including the Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory (MCMI). A familiar voice to the local community, he is a former adjunct professor at Ateneo de Manila University who has lectured widely on psychometrics, the Rasch model, and DSM classification.

🧠 Session 1: Levels of Personality Functioning in the DSM-5-TR Alternative Model and the ICD-11

Prepare to explore how cutting-edge classification systems are moving toward dimensional frameworks to enrich our clinical case conceptualization.

📅 Conference Date: August 5, 2026 | 9 AM - 5 PM (Fully Online)
⏰ REGISTRATION OPENS: July 15, 2026

🧠 Advocating for the Frontline.⚓🪖

It was an absolute privilege to serve as the resource speaker for Western Command’s Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Initiative orientation! Thank you to the leadership, uniformed ranks, and non-uniformed personnel of WESCOM for this incredible opportunity to advocate for psychological resilience on the front lines.

In high-tempo environments, looking out for a teammate's mental fitness is the ultimate form of critical unit maintenance. By training in the ALGEE Protocol, WESCOM is ensuring that early peer intervention and the "Buddy System" are hardwired into daily operations to protect their most valuable asset: their people.

Thank you for your active engagement, sharp insights, and unshakeable commitment to keeping your ranks steady, alert, and united in support of the "PEACE Palawan" whole-of-nation framework. 🇵🇭

🌱 Keeping the Light Burning: Resilience & MHFA Orientation

Yesterday, I had the privilege of holding space for an intimate yet deeply powerful capacity-building session with the incredible leaders of the Local Council of Women (LCW) of Brooke’s Point.

As the frontlines of social welfare, these women carry an immense weight—often balancing public leadership with domestic expectations. In our safe space, we shifted the narrative around stress, normalizing it as a natural biological response to high-stakes work rather than a sign of weakness. We practiced immediate grounding tools like box breathing to counter burnout, and dove into practical Mental Health First Aid skills to help them listen non-judgmentally, spot early warning signs of distress, and safely bridge community members to professional care.

We closed our time together with a moving Commitment Circle, where each leader made a personal pledge for both self-care and community action.

To the wonderful leaders of the LCW: You are truly the lights of your community. But remember—to illuminate the path for others, you must first ensure your own lamp is never empty. Thank you for opening your hearts to this vital work!

🌱 From Enforcement to Behavioral Impact 🌿

I am deeply honored to have served as the resource speaker for the intensive SBCC Strategy Design & Implementation Workshop with the dedicated team of the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park (PPSRNP)!

A huge thank you to the management and leadership of the Protected Area Management Office (PAMO) for their trust, incredible hospitality, and progressive vision. PAMO is no longer just protecting a physical boundary—they are strategically influencing a social ecosystem for sustainable human behavior change. Let's make this rollout real! 🚀
